It could happen anywhere. It could be while doing some chores or during a vacation or while having a night out or eating outside. It could also be while doing simple things like cooking or watching TV or listening to music. No matter how and when always be ready to have it jot down so that you will not be able to forget them and may even start right away while the inspiration is still fresh.

4. Always learn something

It is said before that as a writer, you should always read. This is a good way for you not to only learn about different styles but also learning something in general. It is not only through reading. It can be by watching movies, shows, or documentaries or even by listening. You can just go out and observe your surroundings, and you will be able to learn something new. As for improving your writing, what will help is for you to attend some lectures or workshops that teach different kinds of techniques.
