Just as we get the first little glimmers of Spring, good old Boston reminds you that… you live in good old Boston. After a couple days of nearly 60-degree weather, we’ve had some bitter cold and this morning, a substantial flurry of snow. I love the seasons and, yes, I love the snow, but even I can’t pretend the back-and-forth isn’t a bit tough to take.
I’ve found that the best way to combat the cold (besides my delicious homemade amaretto cappuccinos) is surrounding myself with beautiful bright fabrics. Thus my latest small wall quilt/baby quilt:
Doesn’t it just herald the arrival of flip flops, sunshine, and ice cold lemonade?
Don’t worry. It won’t be long. I have faith, and you should do. Meanwhile, I have a trip planned to Puerto Rico which is the inspiration for my latest quilting project (hint: I’ll be scuba diving in an area known as “Candyland”).
Meanwhile, like I said…
