The Party Pillow

I’ve had this image dancing around in my head quite a bit these days. So, of course, I decided to quilt it out (this actually isn’t the first time I’ve done so, but more on that later…)

There’s something so appealing about those bursting bubbles, and it’s not just the fact that I, like most, am a big fan of the champagne. It’s celebratory, joyful, effervescent– and colorful!

I catch a flight this afternoon to Beirut, where I’m going with the husband and a group of friends from the business school. Judging by our itinerary, this pillow pretty much sums up how the next week will be spent.
