It can be tricky to hunker down and sew when Spring fever strikes– but despite my restlessness and the balmy April weather (and the need to strategically place fans throughout our little apartment, which have a tendency to blow bits of fabric all over the place), I’m still loving my sewing studio these days.
Little projects, like these lavender patchwork eye pillows for Cambridge Naturals, are short, sweet, and somehow feel Springy…
I’ve also been working this set of pillows for a client, which has been a nice warm weather project. Maybe it’s the sunshine-y colors.
And, while waiting for more fabric to arrive for my next commissioned project, I’m having lots of fun with table runners.
Though I guess a pitcher of lemonade would make more sense than tea mugs given the heat we’re having. Both of these little guys are already up in my Etsy, and I hope to stitch up a few more before embarking on my next larger project- Springtime is so conducive to these little whip-it-up endeavors.
